It's Christmas! Not much to say today. The kids opened most of their presents at home and on Christmas Eve, so there were Santa presents and stockings and that was about it. The twins had a few more presents to open, as they could have cared less last night and kind of gave up. They'll learn! We just hung out the whole day. We had a great lunch with Sandy and Kay, who left afterwards to get home before a storm came through. Then we just hung out, playing the Wii and enjoying all of our gifts. The two Wii games that hit it big were Wii Music, from Matt, and Boom Blox, from Mark. We then watched A Christmas Story. It was the first time the kids had ever seen it, and they absolutely loved it. Jaeden got a Nerf gun, and we kept saying afterwards that he was going to shoot his eye out. It was hilarious. I'm just waiting for the first, "How do the little piggies eat" incident. Oh yeah, it will be to die for. The kids made it to bed around 10:30, and then Matt and I watched Rocky II. It doesn't stand out like the others, I think. He watched Rocky III afterwards, but Liam was crying so I had to hang out with him until 1:30 in the morning. Yeah children!!! Don't look for a post for the day after Christmas, as we are planning on just completely vegging. Merry Christmas!!!
The stockings were thrown on the floor with care. The kids got Speed Racer cars and High School Musical 3 cards, along with lots of candy. Thanks Santa!
Santa brought American Girl clothes, a Scooter, and Thomas the Tank Engine trains. He must know my kids pretty well, as they were all very happy!
Uncle Matt got Hannah and Annika Webkinz, and with the ones they got from us they were in Webkinz heaven. Here we see the Webkinz center we set up for them to log in and officially adopt them. We're thinking of bringing in some more phone lines and turning this into a call center. It's about time the kids put their technology skills to work!

Uncle Matt didn't quite make it. He does look comfortable, though. Without this nap, however, there is no way he could have made it until 2:00 to see Rocky III.
Playing Wii Music. I didn't get a turn, but it looked like tons of fun. And yes, that is still Matt passed out. This is the one thing Hannah really wanted, so she was super excited.
Jaeden hasn't really taken this shirt off since he got it. This is him with his Nerf Gun.

Playing Boom Blox. This was a lot of fun. If you haven't played it, give it a try, you'll love it! It's like Jenga on steroids. Which of course means it will hit lots of home runs but no one will ever really believe you deserve to make it to the Hall of Fame. Or maybe it is just crazy. I'm not sure how far to take that analogy.
Anyway, the buddies went to bed at 7:00 and we were soon watching A Christmas Story.
